Preparation of the place to grow Orchids

Most orchids require less than 100% light intensity. Dendrobium orchids require 50-60% light intensity, phaleonopsis orchids 30-40%, oncidium orchids 30-40%, vanda tricolor orchids 60%, orchid species such as tiger orchids, black orchids 30-40%. Orchids that require 100% light intensity are vanda douglas, scorpion orchids, renanthera orchids.

Orchid plants that require light intensity of less than 100%, where they grow need to be shaded, that is, they can use paranet or bamboo kere, or other materials that can be adjusted to allow light to pass. In addition, the shade can be from live plants, namely orchids attached to shady living plant trees so that the light is not 100% on the plants. Orchid plants provide smooth aeration, for that the walls of the green house should not be tightly open, or at least the walls should use ram wire.

The materials needed to make a shade house or a simple orchid hut. Wall materials can use iron or bamboo pipes, open perimeter walls or use ram wire. The roof uses paranet 60% light or paranet that can pass 60% light.
